Autism Connections is a learning and support center for children with ASD and their parent. Besides addressing the basic programmatic needs, we wanted the children and their parents to feel as though they were in a community center rather than a clinic. We did this primarily by bringing the classrooms and some of the supporting functions under a larger volume of space.
